Starting Out

hello all,
since i did not start from the beginning i am just going to give a VERY quick nutshell of what has happened to me in the past week:
i left JFK for London tuesday. on wednesday we were delayed because of snow so i basically was on a plane for 5 hours instead of 45 minutes from london to paris. By then i had met up with Peter Leblanc (from PC) and we were late so we got a taxi. Orientation lasted a day and a half. we stayed at a hostel that was actually really nice. we had a couple of lectures and a couple of outings but nothing too serious. i got to know some people and was happy to find that everyone seemed nice. friday night we all moved into our host families houses. i was SOOOOO nervous but dinner went smoothly and though i lacked french skills we communicated pretty well. The weekend was pretty chill. I went sight seeing (shhh, im not a tourist) and saw my new neighborhood (which is pretty awesome cause its mostly residential but theres many stores everywhere). On monday we were split up in three classes of french for an intensive language program. and thats what ive been doing for the past four days. the class wasnt all that intense but it was three hours in the morning. Real classes start monday and its still a huge mess for me cause PC's retarded. but thats pretty much it..in a nutshell.
